Using the web app
Everything your assistant does in Cue-Queue, you can see for yourself in the web app at /app. Sign in with the same account you connected your assistant with.
You do not need the web app to use Cue-Queue; your assistant is the main way in. It is for looking, reviewing, and the occasional change by hand.
Your home page
Home is where you land. It is, in order: the page your admins set for your role (in a personal workspace, the one you choose in Workspace settings); otherwise the home page your assistant built for you; otherwise Cue-Queue’s own, with three parts:
- Connect your assistant: the address to add and links to the steps for each assistant. Once an assistant is connected to this workspace, it says so.
- Get started: hands your assistant the request to set your work up with you.
- Try an example: each one hands your assistant the request to set that example up for you, on your own data or on sample data.
Each button puts the request in your assistant’s prompt box when the page is open there, or copies it for you to paste.
Browsing
The left panel is your workspace: your own space, under your name, and the team’s space, under the organization’s name. Owners and admins also see People, where each member’s own space is. Open anything to see it:
- Documents: instructions, drafts, notes. Open one to read it, or edit it and save.
- Folders: where a job’s documents and material are kept. Every folder has a description saying what it is for; your assistant writes them, and you can change them.
- Lists of work (the app calls them pipelines): the items a job is working through, and which stage each one is at, such as found, shortlisted or approved. This is usually where you see what is waiting on you. To change an item yourself, click the pencil on it: nobody else can work on it while it is open. Release saves it, in the stage it was in unless you pick another, and Cancel puts it back as it was.
Doing things by hand
From the toolbar you can create a folder, a document or a list, and upload files. Right-click an item in the left panel to rename, move, copy or delete it. To act on several, tick them: the selected button then moves or copies them into the folder open in the left panel, downloads them, or deletes them. Folders, documents and lists also have their own export, covered in Taking your data out. Anything you change, your assistant sees next time it looks.
Your account
Your picture in the top corner opens a menu with Account settings, your account page: your profile, your sign-in and security settings, the assistants you have connected, and any temporary access your assistant has issued for a file transfer.
Your workspace
The menu beside it shows which workspace you are in, and lets you switch. Owners and admins also find the organization’s settings there.
