Reviewing and steering work

Work set up in Cue-Queue stops where a person decides. That is how you stay in charge of work you have handed over: nothing important happens without you seeing it.

Where decisions show up

When your assistant reaches a point where you decide, it tells you in the chat, and it also leaves what you need to look at in your workspace: a shortlist, a draft, a set of changes. That means you can review it later, in another chat, on another device, or in the web app.

Ask at any time:

Is anything waiting on me?

Deciding

Answer in plain words, in any chat:

Yes to the first four. Skip Priya, she’s too senior. Hold the rest until next week.

Or open what your assistant left in the web app, and write your comments into it. Your assistant reads them the next time the work runs.

Steering

A comment about one item changes that item. A comment about how the work is done changes the instructions, so it lasts:

Always check their current notice period before shortlisting.

If you are not sure which it was, ask your assistant to put it in the instructions.

Taking over, or handing back

You can stop work at any point, do a step yourself, and tell your assistant to carry on from there. Colleagues can do the same on shared work: whoever picks it up sees where it was left.
